A man is appealing for help after catching someone kicking the wing mirror off a car on Ring doorbell CCTV.

The annoyed car owner, who asked not to be named, is appealing for help after ring doorbell CCTV shows a person kicking off his wing mirror in the early hours of Monday morning.

An Oswaldtwistle resident shared videos of three people walking down Roe Greave Road at around 12.30am on Monday, August 29.

The doorbell CCTV footage shows a male appearing to kick the right wing mirror backwards before stumbling slightly and walking off with two women following behind.

Warning: the video contains some strong language some viewers may find offensive

Sharing the videos on a Facebook community group, the resident wrote: “One very childish individual that can’t handle his beer decided to play a little game with my wing mirror.

“Does anyone recognise any of these people or have better footage of their faces?”

The owner of the car has had to replace the broken wing mirror which cost £130 in total. The wing mirror was £100 and an additional £30 was charged to colour match it to the silver Ford Fiesta.

In an attempt to find the person who is responsible for the damage, the resident has asked neighbours and people online for information but has not had any luck yet.

“We haven’t found anything ourselves, we asked a few locals and no one seems to know who it is,” he said.

The Rhoden Inn, which has a closing time of 12am on Sundays, is a three minute walk from where the incident happened.

The Ford Fiesta owner said he will be going into the pub to ask if any of the workers recognise the people as it is thought that they may have been walking back from the pub during the Bank Holiday weekend.

The resident is urging anyone who recognises the people in the footage to come forward.
